Gotland, ‘Scandinavia’s Crete’ warmly welcomes you to experience its spectacular natural and cultural wonders. You hike at your own pace along enjoyable paths passing through Gotland’s unique scenery. Amongst other things, we visit Visby, a medieval town awarded World Heritage status by Unesco.

Our hiking route takes us around Gotland towards Fårö and your efforts are always rewarded by good food and a sound night’s sleep. If you have luck on your side, you may well see a seal colony, hear the sea eagle’s heavily beating wings, smell the scents from the meadow’s countless flowers and orchids or simply enjoy the coastal scenery overlooking one of the impressive sculptured ‘rauks’.

While you hike, you carry just your daypack, picnic lunch and a detailed hiking description as your guide. We take care of your luggage and transfer it to your next overnight stop. As you approach the end of your hiking trip on Gotland, you are guaranteed to have been rewarded with both an insight into and a feeling for this exotic Swedish landscape. On this unique island of the Baltic Sea, you have perhaps discovered the true spirit of Gotland.
