"Experience the spirit of Lapland by foot’ is a hiking trip through an area of the Swedish-Norwegian mountain range which offers you an out of the ordinary experience. No two days are alike.

The hiking terrain is very varied. You hike at your own pace with just your day pack, detailed route descriptions and information on Sami culture, flora and fauna etc. Each day, you have a choice among various hiking alternatives. The hiking is mostly easy with a few tougher sections on marked paths. Your luggage is transferred between your accommodation during the week.

Each evening, after an exhilarating day’s hiking, you enjoy a delicious game dinner. We know exactly what is required after a day’s hiking – so sit back and enjoy!

During your hiking trip, you are rewarded with outstanding nature, such as north Europe ’s largest water filled canyons or the unique fauna and flora onthe Norwegian island of Gudfjellöya . From its top are views stretching for miles, certain to exceed most expectations. There are few places that reward you with so much pleasure.

Your final day, we go up to the mighty massif in Börgefjell National Park , where you hike among rivers, creeks, lakes, small glaciers and high alpine mountains. Only now are we content that you have been given a feeling for the true spirit of Lapland in this unique Swedish-Norwegian mountain region of southern Lapland .
